The Sheffield Kidney Institute (SKI)


The SKI is one of the largest kidney units in the UK and Europe with a longstanding tradition of excellence in education and research as well as being a major tertiary referral centre for the South Yorkshire and North Trent regions.

We provide a range of education and training opportunities including Sheffield University Diploma and Masters courses in nephrology.  We are currently developing a distance learning course in nephrology as well as a teaching resource for primary care.

Opportunities for research exist within the Academic Nephrology Unit which is a centre of excellence for both basic science and clinical research.
